Dublin’s social calendar is jammed with events to usher in the New Year this year. The Guinness Storehouse is the hub of all celebrations, with impressive headliners on New Year’s Eve including the Dublin Gospel Choir, Ryan Sheridan, The Knights of Leon and special guest DJs.

Some traditions are worth holding on to, and when it comes to the Live Animal Crib at Dublin’s Mansion House, this is especially true. Established in 1956 by Father Louis Coffey, the dazzling crib has been stealing gasps from families for generations. This year it will go on display from the 8th December to the 24th.
