Q-Park and eTRIP team up to save AA Ireland members time and money
Monday, 07 April 2008
Q-Park Ireland and eTrip Services Ireland have teamed up with AA Ireland to provide a unique offer exclusive to AA Club members.  The offer entitles AA Club Members to a reduction of 10% on the purchase of an eTrip tag for all their tolling and parking needs, and a discount of 20% on monthly administration fees. Q-Park Ireland has sponsored €25.00 free parking credit for AA Club members to use in any Q-Park car park equipped with eTrip electronic fee collection solutions.

eTrip’s tag allows consumers to electronically pay tariffs on all toll roads in Ireland including the M50 Westlink, Eastlink, Dublin Port Tunnel, M1, M4, M8 and the future barrier free free-flow M50. The tag can also be used in the following Dublin car parks managed by Q-Park Ireland; Setanta Car Park, Clerys Car Park, Saint Stephens Green, the Royal College of Surgeons and Bloomfield Shopping Centre.   In addition, the service is available to customers in Grand Parade, Carroll’s Quay and City Hall in Cork, and Harvey’s Quay in Limerick.

“Since we launched our services in Ireland last year, hundreds of customers have been taking advantage of this convenient, safe, cashless and ticketless free way to pay for and manage their tolling and car-parking fees. This exclusive offer to AA Club members is particularly appealing at a time when many new motorists in Dublin will soon prefer to have an electronic tag to pay their tolls for the new barrier free-flow M50 service,” said, Eric Wurmser, CEO of eTrip Services Ireland.  “We are now happy to have teamed up with Q-Park and the AA to offer the AA Club Members this exclusive opportunity to experience the advantages of eTrip services firsthand,” he concluded.

“We are delighted to partner with eTrip in this exclusive offer to all AA Club members. Our priority is to provide a superior service and greater choice in products and services,” said Ray Peers, chief executive of Q-Park Ireland. “As a market leader in parking facilities, we are continuously developing our offering so that our customers can enjoy an unrivalled quality experience”.
