Q-Park donate over €9,500 to the Mercy Foundation in Cork
Monday, 18 January 2016

We are delighted to bring you the great news that on January 15th, we were able to donate €9,569 to the wonderful Mercy Foundation in Cork. Q-Park and The Mercy Foundation partnered back in 2013, and our partnership has grown from strength to strength ever since, with our donations totalling almost €17,000 to date.

Since 2013, patients of the Mercy Hospital and the families of patients have been able to park in our Q-Park St. Finbarrs car park, which is located close by, for up to 24hrs for only €7. For every person who parks from the hospital, we then give €1 back to the Mercy Foundation. 2015 was the best year yet and we couldn’t be happier to be donating such a sum to a truly wonderful hospital and Foundation. Let’s hope 2016 is even better again!

Commenting on this year’s donation, Simon Madden, Sales and Marketing Manager Q-Park Ireland, said, “At Q-Park, we feel that we are much more than just a parking company and we take our Corporate Social Responsibility very seriously. It is always important for us to help and support all of the communities in which we operate and our partnership with the Mercy Hospital and the Mercy Foundation is an illustration of our commitment to such a policy. We are all delighted to be associated with such a wonderful hospital which has served the people of Cork for generations. We look forward to many more years of partnership and we could not be happier in the knowledge that our financial contribution, albeit not the biggest in comparison to some, is making a real difference to the lives of the Mercy patients.”
