Q-Park are delighted to announce the opening of the new Q-Park Bray car park in the town of Bray, County Wicklow. The car park will provide safe and secure parking in the town centre and expands the Q-Park operation into a new town.

Bray is a coastal town in north County Wicklow that is situated just 20 km south of Dublin city centre on the east coast. Known as the Gateway to the Garden of Ireland it is the longest established seaside town in Ireland. Tourists and day trippers have flocked this town for hundreds of years to enjoy the beautiful coastline including the famous Bray Head and the attractions that the town has to offer.

The newly built 162-space car park is located next to the new Bray Primary Healthcare Centre development and will provide parking for patients and staff. It is also adjacent to civic offices the Bray District Courthouse. The 24/7 public car park is also a short walk away from other well-known attractions such as the SEA LIFE Bray Aquarium, The Mermaid County Wicklow Arts Centre and Bray Harbour itself. Due to the central location of the facility it will also provide parking for retailers and businesses.

Whilst being synonymous for providing safe and secure parking Q-Park also pride themselves on using the latest technology to improve the customer parking experience. Q-Park Bray will benefit from the innovative “tap and go” system which allows parkers to enter and exit the car park using their contactless card. This payment method is considered the safest and socially distant way to park your car during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Q-Parkers will also be able to pre-book their parking online giving customers peace of mind that the parking arrangements have been made. Prebooking online will also reduce search traffic in the local area resulting in less congestion and having a positive impact on the environment.

Q-Park will also introduce their award winning Q-Park Rewards loyalty app. Smart phone users can simply download the app for free and register their payment cards to receive 10% cashback on their parking spend but it will also give a range of extra cashback savings from a host of retailers across Ireland including Argos, Skechers and more.

Adam Bidder, Managing Director of Q-Park UK&I commented ‘We are delighted that even in these uncertain times we are still able to expand our portfolio and bring safe, secure and clean parking to the people of Bray. We look forward to becoming part of the town’s High Street and expanding our operation within Bray and to other locations across the Republic of Ireland’.
