Q-Park supports mass vaccination rollout in Cork

Q-Park have entered into a partnership with the Government Healthcare body to provide discounted parking for patients attending their vaccine appointment at City Hall in Cork City Centre. 

Q-Park are delighted to be able to assist the HSE with the mass vaccination rollout in Cork. Q-Park have entered into a partnership with the Government Healthcare body to provide discounted parking for patients attending their vaccine appointment at City Hall in Cork City Centre. The discounted parking is eligible at Q-Park City Hall car park which is adjacent to the vaccination venue.

It has become clear over the last few months that the only route out of the COVID-19 Pandemic is to vaccinate the population so that restrictions on our daily lives can begin to be lifted. The HSE have approved the use of a number of vaccines over the past few weeks and month and are focussed on this challenging project.

Like many businesses, Q-Park rely on city centre footfall have been massively impacted in the 14 months since the Pandemic reached Irish shores. However, despite the difficult trading conditions Q-Park have been eager to provide any assistance in can throughout COVID-19, whether it be discounted parking for healthcare staff and other keyworkers or the use of Q-Park facilities to help increase the capacity of the healthcare network when it is under significant strain.

This new partnership will result in Q-Park providing a large discount on parking for those who are attending their vaccination appointment. Patients simply need to take a parking ticket from the entry barrier and ensure that it is validated at the City Hall reception. Q-Park are synonymous with clean and safe parking facilities and during the pandemic they have further increased the sanitisation procedures to ensure the safety of the visitors.  So whilst the public can be kept safe by receiving the vaccine they can also be confident that they are parking in a safe and secure environment.
