| Q-Park have taken parking safety and convenience to another level with the development of PaSS (Parking as a Smart Service), a new digital parking solution.
Q-Park are delighted to announce that their innovative Q-Park Rewards app has been nominated for the Best Loyalty Programme of the Year – Travel & Experiences at the Loyalty Magazine Awards 2019. They will be competing for this award against respected brands such as AccorHotels, National Express and Thomas Cook.
The Loyalty Magazine Awards celebrate excellence, innovation and best practice in the loyalty industry across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Created by Loyalty Magazine, the Awards have responded to a desire in the loyalty business to celebrate the achievements of those companies and organisations excelling and achieving the extraordinary.
The award will go to the organisation that can show how it has operated the best loyalty programme offering under the following criteria – value to the customer, commercial benefits for the brand owner and programme manager, enhancement of the brand for the programme partner, creativity, innovation, emotional engagement with an omnichannel approach.
The Q-Park Rewards app has been an industry first in the parking sector. Customers link their payment cards to the app and earn a minimum of 10% cashback on their parking spend with Q-Park. They can also earn cashback from spending on their registered card and Q-Park’s national retail partners including Argos, Debenhams and many more. The customer then redeems the cashback into their bank account to offset the cost of parking or to spend on retail gift vouchers. The aim is to add value to Q-Park customers parking experience but also to improve the relationship between the parking and retail sectors. This theme is what had particular caught the eye of the judging panel. The opportunity to drive more footfall to city centre retailers to boost the high street is a key cornerstone of Q-Park’s bid to win the award.
