Q-Park is proud to announce a €7,779 contribution to the Rotunda Foundation, supporting the vital work carried out by the Rotunda Hospital in Dublin City Centre. This donation forms part of our long‑standing commitment to making hospital visits easier and more affordable for patients, families, and staff.
The Rotunda Hospital, established in 1745, is the world’s oldest continuously operating maternity hospital. Located on Parnell Square, it continues to play a leading role in women’s and infants’ healthcare, offering advanced obstetric services, high‑risk pregnancy support, and specialist neonatal care through its dedicated NICU. Its heritage is reflected in landmark spaces such as the historic Rotunda Pillar Room. The Rotunda Foundation (formerly Friends of the Rotunda) is the official fundraising arm of the hospital and relies entirely on charitable support to enhance clinical care, research, and patient wellbeing.
Since Q-Park assumed responsibility for the Parnell car park following the acquisition of Park Rite, the site has undergone major upgrades. These improvements have modernised the facility, enhanced safety and accessibility, and ensured the location meets Q-Park’s high standards for customer experience. Its position in North Dublin City Centre has made it a popular choice for a wide range of visitors, from shoppers and event‑goers to those attending appointments at the Rotunda Hospital just a short walk away.
Through our updated agreement with the Rotunda Foundation, hospital visitors can avail of a reduced parking fee of €12, with €1 from every validated visit donated directly to the Foundation. This year’s contribution has supported a range of initiatives, helping fund medical equipment, research programmes, and family‑centred care for mothers and newborns.
