Founded in 1977, it has become a major platform for both Irish and international artists to engage with critical global issues through a diverse range of media and practices. The 41st edition features exhibitions across multiple venues in Limerick city, including galleries, repurposed buildings, and public spaces. This year’s Guest Programme, titled It Takes a Village, is curated by Eszter Szakács and focuses on collaborative and community-driven artistic practices. Alongside it, the Platform Commissions support innovative new work by Irish-based artists, with a thematic focus on access, equity, and local engagement. Renowned for its curatorial depth, inclusive ethos, and vibrant atmosphere, EVA International continues to transform Limerick into a hub of contemporary artistic dialogue and cultural exchange.
