Q-Park are delighted to announce that following the acquisition of Tazbell Services Group, the redevelopment and innovation plans for the Park Rite parking business have been launched!

Q-Park have a long and proud history of being one of Ireland’s largest car park operators with numerous safe and secure facilities available under their recognisable branding in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway and Bray. Their reputation for offering both quality facilities and customer service is unmatched across Western Europe. Q-Park are an ever-expanding business and this is demonstrated by the acquisition of Tazbell Services Group which included the Park Rite parking business.

Park Rite are also one of the largest commercial car park operators in the country with a diverse client base including retailers, financial institutions, real estate investment trusts, private investors, hospitals and local authorities. They operate parking facilities across Ireland’s busiest cities including Dublin, Galway, Limerick amongst many others. Operating car parks in Ireland for nearly half a century has meant they have a strong reputation and have won awards including being named a Gold Standard Deloitte Best Managed Company.

Whilst Q-Park and Tazbell Services Group reached an agreement back in August 2022, the magnitude of the deal meant it had to be referred to The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission. This was a lengthy and thorough process and was finally given the green light in the later stages of 2023.

Since completing the acquisition Q-Park have been in the process of welcoming new colleagues and fully integrating the Park Rite operation to the ‘Quality in parking’ ethos. Q-Park are currently in the process of rebranding a number of the Park Rite parking facilities into their recognisable house style which will include improvements that will benefit both existing and new customers. This will include their state of the art PaSS Automatic Number Plate Recognition system as well as including these facilities in their ambitious EV Charging Point rollout plans.

Adam Bidder, Managing Director of Q-Park Ireland commented ‘We were absolutely delighted to complete the purchase of Tazbell Services Group. We look forward to welcoming their facilities and staff into the Q-Park family. This deal demonstrates how, even after the recent Pandemic, that Q-Park have the financial resilience to be able to actively grow as a business through targeted acquisitions.’
